| This Is Our Network In Action! |
| We have been so thankful for the response of so many for relief and recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene. Countless people have stepped in to help. People like Daniel and Jonathan, college students who joined recovery efforts days after the storm hit. People like Sarah-Joy, a teenager who organized the assembly and delivery of flood buckets. There are so many stories of the local church reaching out (scroll down for more!) but we know this is only the beginning. Even as relief and recovery efforts continue for Hurricane Helene, we know Hurricane Milton is coming. |
| We are preparing for Milton's arrival, moving supplies from TX to FL ahead of the storm and talking to rectors of churches in the storm's path to establish a line of communication in advance. All of this preparation is crucial for a quick and efficient response to Milton. “What can we do to help?” We are calling for volunteers. Can you help with immediate relief or long term recovery (or both!)? |
| | The response after a natural disaster is always two-fold: Short-term relief and long-term recovery. Fill out our 2 minute google form and let us know if you can help! And don't forget to watch your email for further communication about relief opportunities as they arise. We're working to finalize details with some of our national partners and by registering your interest you'll be the first to know and be able to sign up. Our national partners include: Adventures in Missions, CitiIMPACT, The Fuller Center, and 8 Days of Hope. |
Short-Term Relief Examples of this are driving supplies to an affected areas, assembling flood buckets, or assisting with a clean up day. Long-Term Recovery These are typically 5-7 day mission trips to rebuild a home or to staff a neighborhood clean up with one our national partners. |
| | Go Grants Can you go? ARDF is offering $500 to any ACNA church that wants to spearhead an effort to get supplies to where they are needed most. |
| |
Donate Every donation means we can help more people, rebuild more homes, send more volunteers, and support more churches. Thank you! |

| | | Churches Helping Churches At the time of writing, this is a list of churches we are in contact with who either need help or are providing help by delivering supplies. Countless other churches have donated to relief efforts. We are so grateful for the response of local churches! |

| On September 21, Sarah-Joy Reichert (All Saints’ Church, Woodbridge, VA) completed her American Heritage Girl's Stars and Stripes project, creating flood buckets and hygiene kits to use in an emergency. When Hurricane Helene hit a few days later, she and her family committed to gathering more supplies and deliver them to Union Anglican Church in Morganton, NC. |
| | From Alabama to North Carolina, Christ Church Montgomery used their Disaster Response Trailer to deliver supplies to The Vine Anglican in Clyde, NC. One of the items was Starlink hardware, now up and running. Previously the rector had to drive quite a ways for any connection to the outside world, and now they will have no problem communicating. The church is thrilled, and is inviting people to come connect with family. |

| | Daniel and Jonathan joined a group of Agricultural students from Tifton, GA to help clear trees in nearby Douglas, GA on Tuesday after the storm. In this video they share what a joy it is to serve the Lord by clearing trees. |
| | From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We cannot do this relief and recovery work without you! |

| Psalm 32:6-7 Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him. You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. |
