September 2025

Dear friend,

It's here! Our 2025 Annual Report is one you don't want to miss - full of encouraging stories, photos, and statistics which showcase the work of Anglican churches all over the world! We hope you enjoy the cool maps of relief work, the personal testimonies from development projects - like 8 year old Jaqueline! - and the quality articles written by members of our staff.
If you want hard copies of our Annual Report for your church, let us know! We are able to ship to churches within the United States.

A Testimony of Prayer and Faith: Planting Trees for Climate Resilience in Tanzania

Families in the Kibondo districts of Tanzania are highly susceptible to extreme weather events like droughts and floods. Deforestation has caused soil erosion, creating adverse conditions for farmers and leading to crop failure, which in turn contributes to food insecurity and poverty.

The Diocese of Kibondo is addressing these needs and more with a project focused on climate resilience and agriculture transformation!

Rev. Amoni Pascal, of Nyaruyoba Parish, shares the importance of this project for his family, and how - even before its inception - prayer played an important role. God responded to Rev. Amoni’s prayers in an unexpected but powerful way: "I was amazed to see how clearly God had answered our prayers. The project included tree planting, the formation of Self-Help Groups, and training in environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture."

The full story is incredible! You can read it in its entirety on our blog!

ARDF at New Wineskins!

ARDF will be at the New Wineskins Missionary Conference in Western North Carolina later this month! If you will be there, come visit us at our table in the large exhibit hall! We'd love to share a cup of coffee with you and get to know you and your heart for your ministry - or answer any questions you may have about ARDF! (Some of our brand new Annual Reports will be there also, so take advantage of that!)

We are also looking forward to hosting two breakout sessions!

Session 1: What makes a good partnership?

Come hear what we at ARDF have learned over the years and take away some practical tips, as well as how ARDF can serve you as you grow your partnerships.

Friday from 2:30-3:15
Part of the Relief and Development Track.

Session 2: Visit A Domestic Mission Site!

This is going to be an incredible opportunity to visit a mission site less than a mile away from the conference center to see what it's like to live, work, and eat on a domestic disaster response mission trip in WNC.

Friday from 3:30-4:15
Part of the Domestic Ministry Track.

This was our sign at the last New Wineskins Missionary Conference. We’ll be there this September - come and see us!

Thanks for being a part of our ARDF family!

In Christ,

Emily Misner
Director of Communications
