A Conference Center for the Kenyan Church
While spiritually vibrant, the Diocese of Maseno South’s 32,000 members live in extreme poverty, making it difficult for the diocese to raise the resources to pay clergy and do the work of mission and ministry. Rather than continuing to fund individual development projects, they are looking for ways to become financially sustainable by initiating projects that will provide a perpetual income to the diocese. They hope to catalyze ministry growth and enhance their impact on the community they serve.
This project will fund the construction of a one level conference center on land owned by the diocese, providing sustainable business rental income to support ministry.

Diocese of Maseno South, Kenya and St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Summerville SC
St. Paul’s Summerville, along with several other churches in the Diocese of SC, has a long-term partnership with the Diocese of Maseno South, Kenya. Over the past 5 years, this has included numerous mission trips and projects completed in the sectors of water, education and health. This partnership is strengthened because Rev. Fred Onyango serves as mission pastor of St. Paul’s but is from the Diocese of Maseno South.
